Their first Wassing reunion held in Holland

This is Harm Reiffers, born in 1862, brother of our great grandmother Geessien Reiffers, and great grandfather of Stoffer still living in Zeerijp	This is Ida Derks Haan born in 1859 and became the wife of Harm Reiffers	This is Grietje Wassing, a sister of our grandfather Harmannus Wassing,  with her husband Lambertus Ekema	Here is Grietje with her husband and their four children. From left to right, Evert, Geessiene, Kornelia and Barteld. Kornelia became the mother of Meindert.
Jantje Wassing, a sister of our grandfather, with her husband Jan Bolt, these two are the grandparents of Berend Jan Westerdijk	The children of the Bolts, Grietje Cornelia, mother of Jan Westerdijk and of an adopted son, Barteld Cornelis.	Jan Westerdijk and Grietje Bolt, all related to the Wassing clan.	Grietje and Jan again a little older now.

Jan an Truus with their first grandchild, Daan, who is the son of Jan and Truus's oldest son, Bastiaan and his partner Jeltsje. Bastiaan's full name is, Barteld Alexander Christiaan.No picture so far. them.	Martje Wassing, our Aunt, Dad's youngest sister,  she is here about 4 or 5 years old and living in Zeerijp, Groningen at the time.	Aunt Martje with her husband Derk Norg and son Eelke at the back of their house.	Here she is with Uncle Derk and the three children she had.

Kornelia and Menne Blink, the parents of Meindert Blink, Kornelia is Grietje Wassing's daughter. Kornelia went by the name of Kea	Geessiene Ekema and husband Willy Wolda, Geessiene went by the name of Ina. Geessiene is Grietje Wassing's daughter.	Barteld Ekema and Geessien Wassing, Barteld is Grietje Wassing's son.
This is Jan Ekema, son of Barteld Ekema, grandson of Grietje Wassing, with his wife Janny. The family gets bigger and bigger. Jan has his own website of family members.	This is Geertruida Adriaantje Wassing nee Van Slooten, the wife of Jan Wassing. She goes by the name of Truus.	Hennie Wolfard a cousin of ours. She is a daughter of Dad's older sister, our Aunt Gezina Wassing married to Hendrik Wolfard, living that time in Middelstum.	This is Jan and Truus Wassing's youngest son, Martijn and his wife Renate with their son Stijn, Martijn's full name is Edwin Ferdinan Martijn and his son's full name is Christiaan Herman.
On the right is a cousin of ours, Jan Wolfard, son of Aunt Gezina, Dad's oldest sister. In the middle is his wife, Ankie. I don't know who they are holding but on the far left is Arnoud, a son of theirs. The four children are, Esmee, Anne, Mikaili and Cheyenne, two of them belong to Jan Wolfard Jr.	Mikaile's birthday party, there are 2 candles on the cake so it is safe to asume it is his second. Joanne is the wife of Jan Jr. and the mother of his two children. Joanne' s father is sitting on the far left. Sorry do not  know his name. The fact is that Jan jr. and Arnoud are our Aunt Gezina's grandchildren	This is Ethan Thomas Shearer, the grandson of Caroline Shearer, the grand daughter of our Uncle Derk, Dad's older brother. This is Janet Ekema. I contacted her first on Facebook to see if she was related to the son of Evert Ekema and she told me that it was most likely her Dad I was looking for. Thanks Janet.	This is Sisca Ekema with her husband Dave and son Ryan. I don't know the last name.	Bert and Korrie Ekema with most of the family. Rick and his family are missing.	This is Fred Ekema with his wife Natasha. They are a newly married couple. I got most of the photo of Facebook.
This is Bert Ekema, son of Evert Ekema who drowned in 1942, with his wife Korrie. Bert and Korrie immigrated to Canada when they were young with the first 2 children, I believe. They have 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls and 5 grandchildren.	This is Josh Ekema with his wife Brandi and their two little girls. Josh has promised to see if he could find some older pictures of his grandparents and parents.	This is Jan Wolfard Jr. with his son Mikaili, they live in Holland but here they are on a holiday in Italy.	This is Stoffer Reiffers and his wife Ina. Stoffer is a great grandson of our great grandparents Barteld and Geessien Wassing. Stoffer and Ina are currently living in Zeerijp, Groningen

Meindert Blink, he is a grandson of Grietje Wassing, sister of our grandfather Harmannus Wassing	The latest Jan Wassing family reunion, held in Zeerijp. The group is getting smaller the same as with us here in Canada.That's life.	Cornelia Bolt is a offspring of one of my grandfathers sisters, Jantje. It is very involved and I will attach the notes from Meindert to my genealogy when I update it.	Barteld Bolt, son of Jan Bolt and Jantje Wassing, my grandfathers sister.
